At God's Kitchen I was inspired by the community and the variety of people that have the same interest as I do to help others . The volunteers proved that all it takes is some time out of your day to help others. At God's Kitchen the volunteers participate in delivering meals to help the homeless enjoy a nice hot meal in order for them to rest easy knowing they didn't have to starve or worry about where there next meal will come from. These programs are the kind of things that need to be formed to help thousands of homeless families across America. God's Kitchen is a good example of places that are essential to the prevention of homelessness and to help homeless families. This group of people at the Kitchen convinced me that I can make a difference. I can make a difference just by volunteering my time to make the people in need feel human. I want to live in a world where every person has a place to call home. I think in order to achieve this I will continue to help out by volunteering over the summer at the God's Kitchen .
